Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

Talentixir IT Solutions Private Limited is committed to making talentixir.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

 

Accessibility matters to us for a specific reason: we are a recruitment company. Barriers on a careers site or an application form exclude candidates from work. That is the opposite of what we exist to do.

 

2. Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

 

Current status: partially conformant. "Partially conformant" means some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. We are actively working on the gaps listed in section 5.

 

We also have regard to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (India) and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) as a reference standard, and to Section 508 and EN 301 549 for our international clients.

 

3. What we have done

Measures currently in place on talentixir.com. Items marked verified were confirmed by testing on 18 August 2026:

 

  • Keyboard navigation — the site can be operated using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on interactive elements

  • Skip to content (verified) — a skip link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass repeated navigation

  • Semantic structure (partly verified) — the page declares its language, uses a single h1, and exposes header, main and footer landmarks; one heading-level issue is noted in section 5

  • Text alternatives (verified) — every image on the home page carries an alt attribute; meaningful images have descriptive text and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology

  • Colour contrast — text and interface elements are checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratios of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components

  • Resizable text — content reflows and remains readable at up to 200% zoom without loss of function

  • Reduced motion — animations respect the operating system's "reduce motion" preference

  • Form labels (verified) — all form fields have programmatically associated labels, and errors are announced clearly rather than by colour alone

  • Descriptive links (verified) — every link has discernible text or an accessible name; none are empty

  • Responsive design — the site works on mobile, tablet and desktop, in portrait and landscape

 

4. Compatibility

talentixir.com is designed to work with:

 

  • Browsers — recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari

  • Screen readers — NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android

  • Assistive input — keyboard-only navigation, switch access, and speech recognition software

 

The site may not work reliably with browsers older than three major versions, or with Internet Explorer.

 

5. Known limitations

We are honest about where we fall short. We are aware of the following and are working on them:

 

  • Heading structure — Limitation: On the home page, one section heading is marked up at the wrong level (an h6 appears within an h3 group), which can confuse screen reader users navigating by heading; Status: Fix scheduled

  • Navigation landmark — Limitation: The main menu is not wrapped in a <nav> landmark, so it cannot be jumped to directly by landmark navigation; Status: Fix scheduled

  • Third-party booking tool — Limitation: The embedded scheduling widget is supplied by a third party and its colour contrast and focus order are not fully under our control; Status: Raised with the vendor; you can book by email or phone as an alternative

  • Blog content — Limitation: Some older blog posts may have images without alt text, or headings that skip a level; Status: Being corrected during ongoing content review

  • Embedded documents — Limitation: Some linked PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers; Status: We will supply an accessible version on request

  • Video content — Limitation: Third-party embedded video may lack captions; Status: We will provide a transcript on request

6. Technical approach

The site is built on the Wix platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. Accessibility relies on the browser and assistive technology supporting these technologies.

Our response commitment: we acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to give a substantive response within 10 working days. If a fix will take longer, we will tell you when to expect it and offer an alternative way to get what you need in the meantime.

 

8. Applying for a role

If you are a candidate and need an adjustment at any stage — an accessible format of a job description, extra time in an assessment, an alternative interview format, or a sign language interpreter — email info@talentixir.com and we will arrange it. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis to request an adjustment.

 

We also encourage the clients we work with to run accessible hiring processes.

 

9. Assessment and review

This statement is based on a self-evaluation of talentixir.com carried out by Talentixir, supported by automated accessibility scanning and manual keyboard and screen reader testing.

 

The most recent evaluation covered the home page and checked: page language, skip link, image alt text, heading hierarchy, landmark regions, form field labelling, and link accessible names.

 

It has not yet been independently audited by a third party. We intend to commission an external audit as the site grows.

We review this statement at least every six months, and whenever we make a significant change to the website.

 

10. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with how we respond to your accessibility feedback, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at info@talentixir.com (mark "Grievance Officer"). Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
